We had a great experience here. The cottage is comfortable and cozy, and it is located right by everything -- a block or two away from the grocery store, restaurants etc. -- but still just a short drive from the beach. Martha is a lovely host. I hope to come back sometime!

We had a wonderful visit. Martha is a great host, the cottage was exactly as expected. We love Point Reyes National Seashore so we hiked and biked and then crashed at the cottage to read and watch the birds in the trees. The town is very quiet, and you can walk to the bakery, three or four restaurants, the bank, hardware, and a decent grocery. Not to mention all the little shops. Great for a long weekend!

A charming little cottage very near to the heart of downtown Point Reyes Station, yet totally separate and quiet. The furnishings are simple but lovely and the electric heaters in the cottage keep it warm easily. There is also a wood-burning stove with plenty of firewood supplied. A special "extra" is a bed-warming pad underneath the sleeping surface (that can be turned off once in bed). The owner is gracious and available to help with any needs, if desired. All in all, this is a wonderful retreat for one person or a couple.
