Cancellation Policy

CrashMyPad allows each owner/host to choose from a list of cancellation policies that will be applied if a cancellation request is made by the guest.  On the Pads Page, click on the cancellation policy link to see the details of the cancellation policy for a specific property prior to booking.  If a guest decides to cancel after the reservation has been confirmed by the owner/host, the guest can review the cancellation policy once again when selecting the reservation details icon on the Guest Confirmed Reservation Link under My Reservations – Guest.  (This is where you can cancel your reservation.)

If you cancel before the owner/host has confirmed the reservation, there is no cancellation fee.

Note to Owner/Host: If you change your cancellation policies, any previous reservations will be held to the original cancellation policy that you had in place when the reservation was confirmed.

Applies to all cancellation policies. (Minimal, Intermediate, Maximum, No Refund and Custom Cancellation Policies):

  • CrashMyPad service fees are NON REFUNDABLE on all types of cancellation policies (Minimal, Intermediate, Maximum, No Refund and Custom Cancellation Policies).
  • Cleaning fees are refundable if the guest did not check in.
  • If there is a complaint from either guest or owner/host, you must contact CrashMyPad within 24 hours of check-in.
  • A reservation is not cancelled until the guest has received a confirmation of cancellation email from CrashmyPad.
  • If there is an additional charge per person, per night (over the standard occupancy rate) those guests will fall under the same cancellation policy as the standard occupancy.


Minimal Cancellation Policy – Accommodations, cancelled 24 hours prior to arrival, allows for a full refund.

  • Cancellation must be made 24 hours prior to midnight on the day before the check in.  For example, if the check-in day is on Saturday, you need to cancel by the prior Thursday at midnight.
  • If the guest arrives and decides to leave prior to the check-out date, any nights after the 24 hour confirmation (receives cancellation confirmation email from CrashMyPad) are 100% refunded.
  • If the guest cancels less than the 24 hours before check-in, a 1-night penalty will be applied.
  • If there is an additional charge per person, per night (over the standard occupancy rate) those guests will fall under the same cancellation policy as the standard occupancy.


Intermediate Cancellation Policy – Accommodations, cancelled 5 days prior to arrival, allow for a full refund.

  • Cancellation must be made 5 full days prior to midnight on the day before the check-in.  For example if the check-in day is on Saturday, you need to cancel by the previous Thursday at midnight.
  • If the guest arrives and decides to leave prior to the check-out date, any nights after the 24 hour confirmation (receives cancellation confirmation email from CrashMyPad) are 50% refunded.
  • If the guest cancels less than the 5 days before check-in, a 1-night penalty will be applied, and the following days will be 50% refunded.
  • If there is an additional charge per person, per night (over the standard occupancy rate) those guests will fall under the same cancellation policy as the standard occupancy.


Maximum Cancellation Policy – Accommodations, cancelled 1 week prior to arrival, allows for a 50% refund.

  • Cancellation must be made 1 week prior to midnight on the day before the check in.  If not done 1 week in advance, there is NO REFUND.  For example,  if the check-in day is on Saturday, you need to cancel by the previous Friday at midnight.
  • If the guest arrives and decides to leave prior to check-out date, there is No Refund.
  • If there is an additional charge per person, per night (over the standard occupancy rate) those guests will fall under the same cancellation policy as the standard occupancy.


No Refund Cancellation Policy – Accommodations, cancelled by guest, there is No Refund.

  • The No Refund policy applies to all reservations made through CrashMyPad.
  • If a guest has a complaint about the property or alleges falsification of information, CrashMyPad will arbitrate ( if needed).
